This is disgusting! My stomach hurts just reading it. 28 years? thats nothing! He will be out in 25 or less with good behavior and he will still be young enough to endanger other children. Please, Please write to your congress men. Tell them 28 years is not sufficient for MURDER!

Are we any different from this man? Yes, he is despicable...I could never imagine doing that to one of my children! The Bible says that we are all sinners though. All sin keeps us from God, and no sin is worse than another? Here is a question though....
Are you a good person?
Would you answer yes? The Bible says that everyone will proclaim his or her own goodness. Using only a few examples of God’s moral code- the Ten Commandments - let’s take a minute to see how we would measure up by God’s standard.
Have you ever told a lie?
When we lie what are we considered under God’s eyes?
A liar.
Have you ever stolen anything?
What would that make you?
A thief.
Jesus says that hate is like unto murder and that anyone who lusts after someone has already committed adultery in their heart (Matthew 5:27-28). Have you ever hated someone or lusted after someone?
What would that make you?
A murderer and adulterer.
If you have been honest with yourself, you will see that you are likely guilty of several if not all of God’s Commandments! And when we stand before God on Judgment Day the Lord will punish all our sin and iniquities. Even every idle word will be made known before the Lord God of all creation. The Lord will search our motives; He will judge our heart and actions…ALL SIN WILL BE REVEALED!!!
And the Lord’s punishment will be just and righteous but make no mistake and don’t be fooled…there will be punishment for sin! Just as this man that killed his child, you will also face a good and righteous God. And as you stand before God, guilty of all His Commandments – for the Lord said that who ever breaks even one of the Commandment’s is guilty of breaking them all – where would God, who is Just, send you? Would you be sent to heaven or hell?
Ask yourself, would you punish a murderer, a rapist, a thief, a liar an adulterer? How much greater is the Lord’s righteousness then yours? Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:10 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"
So what now? You stand before a Just and Holy God who will punish you for your sins by sending you to hell. Sounds hopeless doesn’t it?
It doesn’t have to be for there IS hope!
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that who ever believes upon Him shall not perish but have everlasting life” John 3:16
2,000 years ago, Jesus Christ died for you, for me, for all sinners and all sin. See God does not want to send us to Hell. Jesus Christ came and died upon the cross to take our sin upon Himself. In other words, he paid our fine for us. After three days, He rose from the dead and defeated death. Romans 5:8: "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
So what does this all mean? God has shown immense love, grace, and mercy in giving us everlasting life. We must do what God has told us in the Bible and turn from our sins and repent, we must forsake our sins. We must completely trust, love and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, seek to know more about Jesus through reading the Bible. If we honestly repent, trust and accept Jesus Christ for our salvation we will be forgiven.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.( Romans 10:9)
So ask!

You people come to very hasty conclusions without cause. How do you know that he was not:

a) mentally derranged
b) emotionally destructive
c) in need of a very good phsyciatrist
d) all of the above!

Beleive me when I say 28 years is not enough for him, but I don't know the man and I do not know what state of mind/soul he could have been in.

In regard to faith:

Jesus said,

"For God so loved the World He gave His only begotten Son, so >>WHOEVER<< beleives in Him shall not perish, but have Eternal Life. For God did not send His son into the World to condemn the World, but so that through Him it might be saved." (John 3:16)

God is so gracefully merciful, that all; black, white, homosexual, straight, man, woman, race etc that beleive in and accept in Jesus Christ will be spared of their Sins.

However, all who do not accept the Lord Christ as their Saviour on account of their Sins, will meet a horrible end. Check in on Revelation chapters 21-23.

All Sin is against God Himself, and He will judge according to His Law, that is the Ten Commandments.

Therefore, no Sin is "Greater" or "Lesser" than another. I haven't literally murdered either, however I have tested myself, and guess what, I've broken every single one of the Ten Commandments!
No, Christians are not saints, and make mistakes from time-to-time.

In the Eyes of God, hatred towards another is like a murderous heart. Have you ever hated someone? Yes? That makes you (in God's Eyes) a murderer.

This is all clearly stated in the Bible.

Ignore it at your own expense.

i think she is taking this as killing their soul.. I am not getting al Religous with yall but I am saying i see her point if you hate your brother in christ he may not be saved and in hatiing him you can kill his soul in the eyes of God because you could be the one sent to tell him or her about christ....

of course i dont see how killing a baby and telling a lie (which is a sin) are close to the same thing Killing someone has a greater consiquincein the end... The whole every sin is the same is a bunch of snot..
