Volusia supports cities backing up EVAC
The Volusia County Council agreed Monday it's a good idea that city fire departments with ambulances be permitted to take patients to the hospital when EVAC can't arrive in a timely manner.

What's it going to cost to have the fire department transport a patient? We already pay taxes for their services. Double whammy.
