Lots of people enjoy things that are not good for them, the government, the EPA and the FDA are here to make sure that the general public is not affected by the enjoyments of others that CAN and DO have a negative effect on them.

Marijuana has been known to cause a great number of problems in people's lives, despite their enjoyment or inability to recognize those problems.

Len and others, seek the error in yourself first, at all times, a good philosophy. I always look to myself first for any error or defect in character. I'm wrong quite a bit! God knows.

I think when we're all able to stop pointing the finger at each other and instead look to ourselves for the source of our problems, we can venture further in to helping and serving others first.

Merry Christmas and God bless everyone in Jesus.

“Good luck with that !!!!”

John,
I never said I was perfect or without flaw, I challenge anyone to find someone who is. It just doesn't happen.
My point is that anytime a law is passed, it should be done so for the public good and not for the benefit of a few.
This prohibition was enacted for that benefit. When you couple that with the exposed untruths spewed by those who want to keep the prohibition alive for their own self-interest, or their own ignorance, or their own claim of knowing what morality is, or the fact that they believe the Govt must protect the stupid with laws that effect everybody, then there is a problem.
Those who want to lift this prohibition(myself included) are not the ones "pointing fingers" but rather are the subject of fingers by those who I'd previously mentioned.
All we want is to have the choice without having lives ruined, or being beranded as less giving or less deserving of respect. I don't think that is too much to ask, do you?

I don't smoke or drink, so I choose to spend more time fishing, hiking, jogging and doing healthy things. I have no need to get involved in lifting a prohibition on something that is entirely unnecessary for a functioning healthy life.

From my experience, in my own family, my brother who smokes marijuana often forgets appointments, has a very messy house, he's lazy, and seems to have financial trouble on frequent occasions. That's just what I've observed. I'm sure there are marijuana smokers who are very neat and orderly and timely as well.

I think the majority of people who drink alcohol for instance, do so in excess and not moderation. I think you'd have more DUI's, more lost loved ones and more crime if prohibition against marijuana were appealed.

For the time being, I'll side with what Well.com says about the drug, instead of the bias opinions of active marijuana users.

You call 1.1 pounds "some"?
Yes they are not pot heads. Good point. The article was about drug dealing, not drug usage. I think if their defense is going to be "we use that much" then you might want to help those nice people you know by saying, "I know them, they definitely don't deal, and use that much for personal use because they are massive pot heads" instead. Otherwise, you stupid phuck, you prove the state's case.
You must be a stoner too. Only a stoner would say "good luck with the charges" and then say something that helps enforce the charges.(Possession with INTENT to distribute)

Some of the nicest people I've met have been the ones to stab me in the back. I've helped some nice people once and only had it come back to bite me in the ass when I needed help. Some people reap what they sow and eventually what goes around comes around, and that's what happened here in this case.

You'll reap the harvest you have sown.

If they're nice people and not potheads, then what were they doing with all that pot? 484 grams of weed just doesn't magically appear in your garage, drawers and a/c ducts.

They don't have any priors, but they should get a little jail time to learn their lesson and not deal dangerous drugs to the community.
