I do wonder what the parents of this child expect of the rest of the world? Do all the grocery stores in the town have to remove all items that contain peanuts or were packaged in a facility that packages peanuts? What will happen when this child gets a job, do all the co-workers have to kiss her precious little butt because she can't be near peanuts? I'm sorry, but the world is not responsible for this child's allergies or protecting her from life.

Not only can the children not take a PB&J for lunch, but they can't wear the shirt they wore when they ate a PB&J for breakfast before going to school, lest they have a PB smear on them. Peanut butter is one of the most affordable and healthiest foods out there, children should be allowed to be children and if this child needs special attention she needs to be kept at home and home schooled where her parents can attend to her needs without expecting the whole world to kiss her precious little butt. Her education and special needs are the full responsibility of her parents, financially and literally. Public school is for children who can function in a public setting without expecting individual attention.

I know I took a hard line on the parents, but at the end of the day, I hope and pray that the child stays safe and healthy.
