I think it is a shame that someone compare a man made disater to a natural disaster. Where did all the money go that the feds gave the state all these years for bridge repair? I don't think I have ever read an article that gives a statement of account for all that money. If you put that money that was spent elsewhere into the total money available for the "victims" of this man made disaster, what would that total actually be? Billions? This man made disaster woke up every single state and country in this world to look at their bridges and to make sure they are safe for people to drive on. And, this bonus that the contractor might receive is a positive incentive to finish the bridge earlier than requested. All the people that had to re-route their drives to work and school, all the gas that is going to be saved by cutting out the extra miles that they have been driving every day is going to save them money. Good luck survivors and their families, I hope you get compensated appropriately.

Common Sense and NObs - you two are idiots. When you do have ins.- they only cover so much per year, per life for that matter. And "I chose not to expose myself to" are you kidding? Who the heck thinks about a bridge falling down when riding over it? If this had happened to you or a family member of yours - you both would be thinking differently. I am totally sure of that!!!!!

That is why the decision for compensation is not made by the people whose loved ones die in accidents. They are too consumed with grief to be making rational decisions.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Libra

It's another day when tensions are rife and you feel stretched to breaking point. You might even totally lose your temper with someone, instead of merely snapping at them as you did yesterday. Mars stomps into reverse today, so it would be better to clear the air now with a row, and then forget all about it, rather than allowing bad feelings to accumulate and fester inside you.
