Edgemoor Gardens is a little neighboorhood filled with crackheads, grown-acring children, fights, drug dealers, and confusion. I've been living in Edgemoor for over8 years and i feel as though the police are not doing their job as they should be.
Everyday there is somethiogn going on in edgemoor. It's either a fight or a "junkie" getting high, or some other enonsense that a small communtity like edgemoor itself shouldn't have...i think that the nonsense needs to stop because an innocent person such as myself could seriously get hurt living i my community.

When I lived there, it was a safe, close-knit community. I remember trick or treating, playing on Bedford Drive, having a good time.

Guess I made it out before the crap hit the fan. Too bad, it was a nice place then.

I grew up in the 60,s too. I lived on Rodney Drive. I have great memories of it being a safe happy place to grow up. I live in South Carolina now and thnking about making a trip to Edgemoor Gardens with my husband. It sounds like I should just keep my memories.

i live in edgmoor now, and i can tell you that those boys have not graduated, infact they are no more than 13 or 14 yrs old...dont you just feel like shit now. This is what happens to us poor people who live in edgemoor. when the police are to scared to do thier jobs for fear that these gangsters will kill them. you want us to stand up and do something?? sorry but i really dont want to loose the little bit of possesions i own. i have seen some shit here. people beating down doors and smashing window cause they were bored. so instead of talking all that "they shoulds", and "they are all this and that" fucking help us. mentor these kids, donate your presious time to help. this is life and i guess if you have never lived like this you will never know. these kids have no one to turn to but each other and when everyone treats you like a criminal you might as well be one...

I moved to this neighborhood not knowing about how bad it is I have a 13 yr old and a 15 yr old I sent them to there father for the summer because I didnt want them around here. its nasty around here a very depressing neighborhood. I'm from NY and I have never witnessed a neighborhood like this. This is some different type of ghetto. As soon as my lease is up I'm getting the hell outta hear. No one has control of there kid and I mean little kids, I broke up a fight with 10 year olds jumping on a lil kids and the kids that was jumping him look like they wanted to jump on me. They have no respect. No regards for life these kids are doomed future drug dealers and teenage baby mommas. Good riddens to this place. The police are scared of the people around here. It's a sight to see. total kaos.

Our society is deteriorating. The number of youths growing up to become kitten killers and thugs is outnumbering those growing up to be good, productive citizens. Democracy and "freedom" are losing to crime and greed.

Frankly I'm sick of it and sick of all the disrespect, selfishness, brutality, cruelty etc.

Perhaps it is time for a different more "effective" means of returning sanity?
