Recent Crime Report

I recently had my car broken into and have heard several other reports of similar activity in the Village, what is going on? Has anyone else got similar concerns or insight as to why this might be happening now!

Go to the FWPD website and click on the NPO (Neighborhood Patrol Officer)area. This is a community policing initiative that works well. Call and/or e-mail the Sargent for your area (see the map) and let them know about your concerns.

I went through the same thing in neighborhood In December and met with my NPO, after a week of phone and e-mail tag, and he was glad to hear my concerns because it provided an additional source of info.

Also, be sure to call the cops when break-ins happen. It may seem insignificant, but the police need to know and it helps them address trends before they get worse. One day it's a car break in, the next it could be a house break-in.

yes it appears that crime is up in the village
vandelism 18 cars have had their windows broken out and a lot of theft where is the sheriff patrol.

I have notice strange activity going on at the house next door ...... I think it's druggies ... sure it's druggies .... any advice as to how to run them out of the neighborhood..... might be the cause of crime being up in the Village
