doctors in the area who prescribe xanax to anyone

there is one doc in town who i think prescribes too much of this stuff. i wanna know what everyone else thinks. i dont wnna give the name because i dont want people agreeing just to be agreeing.

Yes there is a doc in town who will prescribe just about anything you ask for. A family member goes the them and all she has to do is say something hurts boom she gets 10mg tabs, says shes bout to go nuts and boom xanax, sleeping problem? not a problem for them they soup you up where you sleep for a week.

What town is this doctor in?? I have severe anxiety and the only anxiety medication covered by my insurance is xanex and desperately need to locate a doctor that will prescribe it!

if you don't mind would you please tell me the name of the dr and location? I will understand if not. I have severe anxiety stemming from my PTSD and xanex an buspar is the only meds my insurance will cover. My dr gave me the buspar and it doesn't touch the anxiety I have and she won't prescribe xanex so I'm desperately seeking a dr that will. I know people and dr's just refuse to offer relief. Why? Addiction? My ANXIETY is an addiction, and Xanax is the cure. So what if I pay the pharmacy, and the drug companies to take care of my Anxiety? Without it, I succumb to stress, rapid heart beat, and less than a life I deserve. It doesn't matter if I work full time, raise a family, pay my bills on time, and struggle the entire way. The Blue Cross Blue Shield will cover my relief, but the dr is too cruel to aide me. It's sad. And I will never understand it.

there are too many people that abise the meds so don't blame the docs if they are reluctant to prescribe it. It is perfectly understandable.

people shouldnt judge. ive been on xanex for years its the only thing that will let me sleep and help with aniexty.. it doesnt cure it by any means but it is the closest thing to making me function. im condisidered medically retired from army and need to get that dr here inknox tn... i didnt know i moved back into a place where it was abused. yet you all are adults stop blaming drs. they didnt shove anything down ur throat. u just makie it hard for people like me who dont abuse it and really do need help. so thanks alot to you people who ar helpin screwing my life and my family life up since the million different medz ive tried dont help and the only thing that does, people made it seem like anthrax so thanks alot. and if someone does know of a psy that can help up here i would really appreciate it and so would my family.

Try the Family Practice Clemic by the hospital in Marion. ky Dr Johnathan is very under standing if you. An get on with Dr Greg Maddux he is very good but don't think he takes new pts and Dr James is good on most day so good luck I suffer

I also have suffer from severe anxiety that is literally debilitating at times and keeps me from working at times. It is getting worse daily! I'm 33 and have been dealing with this since I was a child. My mom had given me a xanex about 3 years ago that's when I discovered how well they helped me. Unfortunately I've always been to scared to even see a Dr. Did you have any luck getting medication that helps you or the name of the doctor? About 7 years ago I was prescribed Zoloft and it made me very tired and didn't help with my anxiety at all..you can email me at [e-mail].

By the way I live in the Kansas City metro area if anyone see's my last post and can help me with a Doctor who will realize I'm not going to abuse my meds! Unfortunatly I would need mine everyday so I would have to take them exactly as prescribed. It's to bad all if us who suffer daily from axiexty stress mood swings etc. and still work, take care of our family's are suffering because SOOO many people take it just to get "high"! It's to bad we are all catererized in the same group I don't even get the slightest buzz from Xanax it just keeps me level..?? Need help in KC BAD anybody have any advice on where to go? I've got great insurance so I can pick any doctor.
