I thought the price was great, too; so, I purchased them. Unfortunately, the structure of the cup and the top are weak, so when you close the Keurig, the top tears (instead of a clean hole being punctured) and it causes coffee grounds to end-up in your coffee. I switched back to the more expensive K-Cups and this stopped.

I have purchased (2)) 54 count Daily Chef Columbian K cups. There is always a lot of the grounds in the cup,not very good. I have cut open the K cups and discovered the problem. There is excess coffee in the K cups. The coffee in the K cups will overfill one of the reusable single cup pods,by at least 1/3 or more!! Use less coffee and improve the product !! WHEREBY INCREASING PROFIT !!

I agree that there are always grounds in the cup. Also, about half of the water comes out giving me half a cup of coffee. It was a waste of money!

Well, I think the extra grounds in the cup help provide a stronger, darker brew. I have not had an issue with grounds to this point, but won't die if a few make it to my cup. Overall, I think it's a good brew and value if you like a bolder coffee.
