My son committed a misdemeanor crime 2 years ago and now that he is in the system, it seems impossible to get him out of it! He has to report to JAMS periodically when his color is called and has been violated twice because they say he has missed 3 report dates (each time.) His color is Rust and only gets called 2-3 times a month and I have been checking it everyday as well and now they are saying he missed 3 times in one month which is IMPOSSIBLE. I have driven him there myself at least that many times. Half the time he goes, they tell him that his urine is too diluted and that we have to come back the next day. This means they get more money. He says they are very mean, rude and impatient. We have finally been getting proof of his attendance, which we did not know we could do because they once told him he didn't need it and that THEY give the info to his PO. I told my son (who is only 18 now) to be more assertive and demand the proof. If this same thing is happening to anyone else from Taylor JAMS PLEASE let me know so that I can show my lawyer how many people this may be happening to? I wish I knew how to have the place investigated and have only continued to go there because it is less expensive than the other alternatives but after spending $2000 on a lawyer for all these violations, it would have ended up cheaper in the long run to pick a more expensive drop site :(

re: The place is filthy and unprofessional I feel like I have been extorted by the 35th district court for over $1300 in fines and court costs. This is racketeering at its best. Rumor has it that the judges own jams.
