Does anyone remember a teacher from School 3 by the name of Flossie Duckett? She taught 5th grade. Her husband worked at the Ecorse Library at during the same time period... the early 60's. I remember Mr. Duckett looked alot like Wally Cox. I believe they had one daughter. Mrs Duckett was my favorite teacher and I have often wondered about her.

Also does anyone remember Josephine Trarojo who taught 6th grade at School 3? I remember she had one hand... like to find out what happened to these ladies.

I had MRs. Tarango as my second grade teacher back in the day**She use to beat Sam Suluka Something Fierce in the back with her big wooden arm**She was ok with me though.

Sadly she was a popular teacher.. she still gives me nightmares

She also ran the safety patrol when I was there.They made sure we raised the flag out in front of the school,lower and fold it properly every day.

Flossie Duckett died in 1992, in a car accident. Charles Duckett died in 2006, of old age and heart issues. Flossie's daughter was married and had three children, all alive as of this writing. Flossie's daughter's name was Jennifer Tarjeft. She and her husband Dan Tarjeft died in 2008 in a motorcycle accident.
