80 years later, Alabama prepares to exonerate 'Scottsboro Boys'
MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Alabama on Monday plan to intorduce a resolution that would acknowledge that the "Scottsboro Boys" -- eight black teenagers and one 12-year-old falsely accused of raping two white women in 1931 -- were "victims of a gross injustice" and formally exonerate them.

Does anyone beleive this, really, accomplishes anything of substance?
This isn't even the "enlightened liberalism" that is so prevalent in the media, today. It is, just,another political move to rake over the past foibles and crimes of society and pretend our elected officials are doing something worthwhile.

An old injury won't ever heal if you allow the media to keep opening the wound. It's over,the people are dead, we don't really know the real story other than what Hollywood hyped up so let's get over it ,put it to rest and move on to something more possitive.
