You have got to be kidding. Have you seen all the houses that are vacant. I don't think there will be any building for along time. Save the money.

Another of Doyle's bizarre programs. Use our tax dollars to buy up farmland before it can be developed. This development would have created real jobs and strengthened the property tax base in areas that need it. Clearly, if it is more valuable as farm land, it would remain so. Other than the Twin Cities' sprawl into St Croix (and nearby counties), northwest Wisconsin is an economic dead zone and urban sprawl doesn't seem like a legitimate problem.
