Anyone notice this summer is getting lots of non-hood or in other words random or rage filled violence? Gosh today's Pioner Press page is full of it. Maybe there is something in the air.

Speaking of comments, I think all these threads should be shut down. There are too many negative and stupid comments. It's like the Republicans have taken over the world and just "need" to inundate us with their views. I'm not necessarily talking about just this story, but all the threads about all the stories seem to have a distinct conservative slant which I find inappropriate. Plus, the spelling is often incorrect. I agree with the recent letters to the editors in both newspapers that we should not allow comments and just shut down these sections altogether.
