I had the privilege to participate in the funeral in honor to Jay Maddy whose two boys are my children's friends for many years.

It is such a tragedy what happened, but the funeral service was the most beautiful and touching that I have ever attended.

How wonderful it is when we know the Lord Jesus and have that eternal hope in our hearts.

May the Lord bless all men/women serving the communities around this beloved country.

The story on Jay Maddy was very humbling and honorably done. I was the Indiana Guard Reserve Staff Sergeant shown presenting wooden crosses to family members. I would like to be able to obtain a copy of your entire piece to the Indiana Guard Reserve Commanding and to the Indiana the Indiana National Guard state Adjutant. I would gladly pay for any copies. Thank you for caring.

Teens should be charged with manslaughter. If they had not set fires he would not have died.

My thoughts are with the family and the department. I didn't know Jay, but he was a brother of mine. Any loss hits us all.
Rest well, brother.
