Hurricane Chris rocks the Louisiana Legislature; online critics react

That was a ridiculous use of the Louisiana Senate's time and although his god-mother may have been proud of him, it was not appropriate to display him this way...one more reason that America can still think of Louisiana's government as corupt/unethical...very sad for the rest of us folks that want to call Louisiana home...

These kind of things right here are why Louisiana gets laughed about so much , there was no good reason for that to have even been a topic in the Senate's floor , and to do this on the tax payers dime , I for one will be sending this to my Rep. and demanding to know why this unappropriate action took place !!!

I think this is very mean I am on of her constituents and I myself think that Mrs. Norton was out of her mind. Not all of her constituents celebrate the things that you are talking about. Next time you post a forum, you might wanna think about what you say first.

Sadly, she may be right. He seems to be
a model of the common problem in the way so many young people think of demeaning sexual material in media today as normal and healthy.
She used the floor of our lawmaking body to honor and promote that kind of self-destructive
mindset. Our state can have no credibility on the national stage with "leaders" like Mrs. Norton running the show. She asserted the right to glorify the very things our society needs to stand against.

I was told personally by a state legislator that it was the most embarrasing moment in La. history for her. I don't know what kind of music that was or if it was music but a total embarrasment for me and all residents of La. Please send Hurricane Chris to Iraq to entertain the prisoners. Much Much better torture than waterboarding.
