There are cars on the grass, plastic
make-shift (ugly)tent -like covers for boats and other things...when the home-
owner has a garage. Large company
trucks with logos stuffed between homes
or out in front of the homes. Garbage
cans stored on the side of homes with
garages..and ugly site...Put them in
About the Rats!!! Many stores and
restaurants leave their big garbage bins
open day and night. And how about the
garbage containers at stores' front doors? Open!!! Are the garbage containers at the parks closed.?
A hint to city hall....Type the rat hints
on the back of every resident's water
bill. Also post them in the free city
news each edition. A lot of people do
not watch the city hall TV meetings.
The city is beginning to look like East
A Former West Sider..Love St.Clair Shores.

Forgot...could all the rabbit droppings
be enticing the rodents? Also dog
food stored in garages, wood piles
stacked on the ground, and dog poop
left on the ground ----brings the rats.
There are two houses in the
12 mile harper/jefferson area with
bird /seed feeders. A real treat
for rats. Please reconsider,,,,
We were at the hardware store buying
old-fashioned traps....we throw them
away when a rat is caught...don't want
to touch them....it's only $2 dollars
at Home Depot. We have a special shovel
for rats only and a metal container.
We heard a couple talking about the
infestation that got into their house
for about 6 mos.
Please heed all suggestions by the city
so none of us has that happen.

Feed the hungry!
1 wooden skewer
1 fresh rat
chili powder, brown sugar, salt, pepper
Soak the wooden skewer in water so it don't burn up.
Skin and dress out the rat. Leave the head on if'n ya like that kinda thing.
Make a dry rub out of the chili powder, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.
BBQ the rat over an open flame until it has some good char. A barrel fire works best.

Mmmmm, sounds tasty. I would like a side of whatever Uni-Dig has fermenting in that stench heap.
