Why in the world she was taken to Jacobi where they leave people in the hallways on gurneys?

Jacobi is a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center. If she went anywhere else, she probably wouldn't have made it. Trust me. They are used to dealing with this. You don't want to take her to just any ER that won't have the capacity to treat her quickly.

She was flown via helicopter to their trauma center.
