My name is Jessica and I was Pino's fiance. I want to thank you for the beautiful words about Pino. Pino Gareri was a very special person ..who was gifted in so many ways. He was a great entertainer and magician, a wonderful poet, talented technician, a hypnotist, but first and foremost a father to three very accomplished and successful children who adored him. Pino was recognized for his talents within his community and all over the world. We will all miss his elegant style and his generosity

I MISS PINO. HE WAS A TERRIFIC PERSON. I USED TO GIVE HIM THE AUDIO AND VIDEO EQUIPMENT (FROM MY CUSTOMERS) TO REPAIR WHEN HE WAS DOING THAT KIND OF WORK BEFORE THE MAGICAL ARTS CENTER EXISTED. I KNEW HIM AS A VERY SKILLED TECHNICIAN AND MOST OF ALL ONE OF THE MOST HONEST PEOPLE IN BUSINESS YOU COULD MEET. HE WAS THE SALT OF THE EARTH- NO PRETENTIONS ABOUT HIM. HE WAS A GREAT MAGICIAN AND PERFORMER. THE MEMORIES OF PINO-WILL ALWAYS BE WITHIN YOU -I WISH YOU THE BEST JESSICA, DANNY AND THE REST OF THE FAMILY, NOEL

I was both a friend and student of Pino, and I miss him very much. I cannot say enough about him; his kindness, his gentle nature, his love for magic and the time and effort he freely took to help me while teaching magic. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. He opened his arms without hesitation to help everyone. I wish Jessica and his family all the best in this time of grief.

Thank you Anthony for your patronage and friendship with Pino., It has been a long and trying year. Pino was always grateful to all of his students, friends and colleagues who supported the shop. Thank you for your good wishes. I am also sorry that I was unable to reach you regarding the funeral. I didn't have access to your number.

The only reason he wasn't famous like Lance Burton and people like him is he was never discovered by the right people. I only wish I had seen him again recently.

Pino Gareri's mark on magic, did not begin and end in Hastings on Hudson. During my years with Pino, we traveled throughout the United States to study the art of "wonder" with the best in the world. Pino had the chance to present his amazing and unique skills to many of the best in the field, who were always amazed by both his skill and talent. Pino's "bottle routine", his "floating lady" and "gypsy thread" drew the gasps of the greatest in magic. He was one of a kind and through his students, his legacy will live forever.

I just learned about Pino's passing, and it was a shock. I lectured at Pino's magic shop several years ago and he was such a gentleman. Afterward, when bumping into him at various events, it was his smile and grace that impressed me. It is customary at times like these to cite a man's extraordinary nature, but in this case, it is so true. He was a friend.
