There is no reason the public and Crescent Bar Residents cannot co-exist on the island. Expand public access and there's still enough room for both. If the island is turned into a seasonal campground, who will pay for the expenses? Grant County Residents, that's who. The new lease can increase rent and make expenses covered.
A campground on the entire island will cost taxpayers. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand the economics of this project. I'm for co-existance for all entities to enjoy. |
