So you're blaming your own partisan blaming behavior and deflection on some other poster's behavior ... got it.
The old, "But Mom! Jimmy did it too!!" defense ... tell me - has that worked well for you in adult life?
The irony is delicious.
Work on your reading comprehension and retention skills... because while your cohort tried to blame it all on Obama i.e. engaging in the partisan antics you're whining about... what I actually said was:

"that was started due to the policies of the prior administration and has been ONGOING..."

Which part of ONGOING don't you understand... lol !
But let's get on to substantive matters, eh? The non-performance and incompetence of the current incompetent Amateur-in-Chief ...
<quoted text>
Right. "Winding down wars."
You'd have us believe that's why Obama is keeping "up to 10,000 troops in Iraq next year, U.S. officials say, despite opposition from many Iraqis and key Democratic Party allies who demand that President Barack Obama bring home the American military as promised."
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43647351/ns/world...
That's "winding down wars?"
How about the young Americans still coming home from Afghanistan in bags, with no end in sight? 2,174 of them at last count - 1,544 of these killed under Obama's command - so far ...
This is "winding down wars?"
And Obama's fresh new military adventures in Libya, Syria, Somalia, Yemen, the tribals areas in Pakistan - this is "winding down wars" in your mind?
So with there being something like 160,000+ soldiers in Iraq in 2009 when he took office... reducing that number down to an amount "up to 10,000" is not winding down the number of soldiers according to you... it's increase...

Seriously... not only do you have language comprehension issues - it seems you're really bad at basic mathematics also.
I have to ask - are delusional, uninformed, or just plain lying through your teeth when you post crap like this? Those seem to be the only rational explanations ...
<quoted text>
O rly? And blowing over $25 BILLION of taxpayers' money in the process, to take just one of the parade of imbecilic deals this Administration has lost taxpayers $$ on?(We'll just leave aside the fact that what Obama was actually bailing out with taxpayers' money were his political friends and patrons, the UAW and Wall Street fat cats).
http://www.rogerhedgecock.com/story/19271330/...
That's laudable, smart policy in your mind?
You're insane. That's none of the US federal Gov't's business in the first place.
These really are not the fact-based views of an objective, non-partisan observer. There's no point continuing with you.
You do realize the bail-outs you are complaining about... were given to the auto companies with little / no strings attached by the BUSH administration... and the current admin has been trying to put in controls on the system to make sure we don't lose any more money...

I know ignoring facts / re-writing history probably makes you feel all warm and cozy inside... but it has little to nothing to do with the facts... so may I please ask that you stick to the facts.

Thanks !
Michael

Btw - here are some links regarding the timeline of the auto bailouts and when they started and how the plans were set up i.e. their timelines...

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/12/20/business/20...

http://www.thedetroitbureau.com/2012/02/bush-...

The funny thing being...

I agree with the sentiments of President Bush given in the second link looking back on his auto bailout program... though it appears you disagree - but that is your choice.

I think you're seeing things again as the post of mine that you're replying to and insisting that I "judged" has no icons showing...

As for the rest of my posts...

Sometime around 8 or 9 it seems some folks went through and gave them a thumbs up i.e. they had no rating or negative ratings from our local troll prior to that... I'm sorry you find this so upsetting but to put it quite bluntly - that's your issue and you'll just have to learn to deal with it...

I'm actually not in Binghamton - it's just where the node is located that part of my Internet traffic is routed through...

So I'm not sure what I should make of your post... except that you're just whining about having diaper rash... which only leads us figure that you really did get rid of that dress of yours that you were going on and on about yesterday... and thought it was a good idea to start wearing a diaper instead...

You've got issues.

You're right! We were doing so very, very well under George Bush, it's a shame that we lost his impressive brand of leadership.

We need someone in the Whitehouse who can bamboozle the Tea Party rubes into another pointless and costly war looking for weapons-of-mass-distruction that don't exist. We need to send more of our young people into battle so that Boeing and Halliburton's stock can skyrocket! As George himself put it, "people misunderestimate me".

Mitt Romney would've been perfect for the job; after all, he was smart enough to realize that corporations are human-beings, and that 47% of us Americans are lowlife freeloaders. Mitt was exactly the kind of corporate shill that Wall Street needed to keep those pesky regulators at bay.

You have to hand it to Mitt; he was smart enough to con millions of Tea Party rubes into voting for policies that were clearly not in their own best interest.

You woudn't know a communist if he blew you.

People like you are paper-tiger conservatives; you want entitlements eliminated, but not the ones that affect you.

The average person pays about $325,000 into social security and medicare taxes over 40 years of employment. Let's just refund your contributions and let you fend for yourself after retirement...how does that sound?

Just remember, if you get REALLY sick...you have to go die in alley, because you're dream of making people "take responsibility for themselves" will have come to fruition! There won't be any more safety-net for freeloaders like you.

As my grandmother used to say, "don't judge other people, because you haven't lived your whole life, yet."

"Would be" is not the same as current... President Obama is our president. Right now. He won his re-election. Mitt loss because Americans realized he is a racist and unfit to run America.

Hillary will win the next election and pick up where president Obama leaves off.

This thread is pointless now because we are in 2013. Idiots troll around thinking about "what could have".... I focus on helping America move forward.
