At no time did I bash you. Your tone is one of anger and so therefore I asked the question. I did not say you have anger issues, I dont know you so I would not make that assmption about you or anyone else.

I also did not accuse you of making anything up. You stated that this is a done deal and you offer no proof of that. It is your assumption that the board and district have made their minds up and that this meeting is nothing more than a smoke screen. None of them have approached you and said, Hey we are closing this building etc.... have they?

You took a position of authority and I question that. Will this take place? Who knows? Would I be shocked if it did? No. All I am saying is unless you can definitively say that you were told directly by whomever that all this is true, you cannot say that it absolutely is.

Some seem to forget that this is an election year for some members of this board. If it turns out that the voting citizens, especially the families that will be affected by this are dead set against it would a board member be willing to possibly lose their seat over it? Anyone attending the board meeting when the decision is made will know how a member votes and if they are opposed to their decision are free to exercise their voting rights and vote against those members retaining their seats.

There are so many factors that could potentially influence the boards decision, that the vote is as likely to go against as it is to go in favor of.

Welp all i can say is keep believing what you believe lol...no im not throwing out names etc. In case you didnt know this all leaked out way before you were all notified, how? Hmmm..think real hard about that...I wonder...how did your children know before you did? Same thing can be said here...im done with this.It is what it is. There indeed are many upset people and I totally understand. Cant blame them. Schools are shut down all the time. Its awful, really it is. My child too will be affected. What can we do about it? Nothing but suck it up. In the end its not up to us...

I hope not. I went to Neidringhaus for K-6. It seems like such a sturdy building. Times do change. Who is the principal there ?

My sons teacher told him the school is closing and 5th and 6th grades from the whole district are going to go to Grigsby and the 7th and 8th are going to go to Coolige... So dont say the teachers arent telling the kids because they are. I know its not definate but the teachers are telling the kids like it is.

Just like I thought They went around most questions. Nothing was 'formally' announced but they made it a point to sound like yes they are going to go through with it now parents will know for sure in April. So that gives you how much time to figure out what your kids are going to do etc.Officials that are affiliated with the school etc will know in Feb.

How much time do you need to know where your kid will go to school? It's not like you have to plan her wedding or what college she will attend. Stick her butt on the bus or drive it to whatever school she goes to.

Went around most questions? Were you the fat broad that yelled at Briggs from the upper deck. He answered every question he had in front of him. If you didn't get the answer it's because you aren't too bright.

My kid is in second grade at Niedringhaus and I'm tickled to death she's getting out of that place before she has to be on the second floor. Hopefully she'll go to Frohardt. If not she'll go to Prather. Big deal, she's getting an education and that's what counts.

You people boreassing about bus schedules and sports make me sick. It's about education people. It's about kids learning to be better than their parents. It's about successes and it's not tied to a building or a sport or getting a free ride to school. It's about teachers and parents working together to educate kids. Get over it or home school. Good luck to your kid if you do that.

Why are you so worried about her going to the second floor? Are scared she might get alittle exercise durring the day walking the stairs...that would be a shame !!! And you say education is the important thing yet you're cool with your child going to Prather !!! You are a fool !! How can you say just stick em on the bus its doesn't matter where they go....boy you're sure working on the mother of the year award !!! Thank God YOU arnt the one home schooling your poor kid !!!!

Just asking but what is the issue with Prather? All three of my children attended Prather. Moved on to Coolidge Middle School Then High School. All three graduated, and have jobs that make them a nice living. So your issue is.....?

If any school needs to close it should be the worst performing school in the district, not one of the best. Prather should be the one to close.

She may have been concerned about her child going to the second floor because perhaps her child is handicapped?

That is one of the main discussions about why the school is/maybe being closed - Because the school is not handicap accessible for all people.

...and you have determined that Prather is the worst performing school in the district by what means? Im hoping you have some sort of statistics to support that statement and are not just judging by the socio-economic environment of the area.

I don't want her on the second floor for obvious safety reasons. Your BD kid might push her down the stairs afterall. As for Prather you may want to go to the state web site. All schools are pretty much on the same level now as far as NCLB. Oh and how cool you bring up home schooling and test scores and spell so poorly.
The bus doesn't hurt kids sweetie. Kids actually develop friendships on those busses. Sounds like you look down on the people of Prather and those who ride busses. Are you some sort of snob? Do you think you're better than others? You're not and neither is your child.
If Niedringhaus does close and your kid goes to Prather with mine I hope they're in the same class. If your child has the same pompus ass attitude as you th eteacher will very definitely appreciate my child more.
You have a nice day Queen.
