A deadly case of teenage violence leaves two families hurting in East St. Louis for far different reasons.

I just want to say how messed up that is that these stupid and ignorant people are going and taking peoples (kids) lives like that. Our lil cousin ain't never coming back again and our whole family thinks it's an outrage that happened!! I blame his mother for this, there is no reason for this, and then you try and hide him after your son took a life!!! Damn you to hell!!!

The victim was not a thug. he was a student trying to better himself. It is very insensitive to call the victim a thug when he was just hanging out at his friend's house.

why is it that people like can only think of something as petty and minor as to what color of skin a child has and where they may live, that happens even in your precious neighborhood!!! It's closer than you dare to admit or even acknowledge, you shouldn't even pass that type of judgement like that, our cousin was @ his friends house, which is right by his family's home it makes no difference where he is or what time it was, what matters is that our family member is lost, he was taken from us with no cause or purpose, you should be ashamed of yourselves and may you all meet your maker sooner than later!!!

I am not a racist but tell me why black kids shoot other black kids like it is nothing. Why is there no value put on human lives. I am a 39 year old white man and I have been in many fights but would never consider killing someone unless they were trying to kill me first or hurt my family in some way. You will say I am soft for saying that but I believe in God and just wouldn't or couldn't do it unless like I said my life was in danger first. Help me to understand, because I don't.

Typical black violence, sad, when you see a black woman on the news/TV and she is upset and cryin, "We gots to stop dis' violent behava', our young peoples are gettn' killed on da' streets". I think that before any one make any comments on this case you need to know the real facts. Its so said how people leave comments about these teen boys. All of the teen males in east st louis are not thugs. this teen that we are talking about is not any other teen his family and for people to just sit here and say the thing they are saying is unreal. Instead of pray for the family people leave racist comments. That so said i'm pray for all of you guys.
