Yep, feces. This is why you never buy a foreclosed home. You know they don't disclosed this. A foreclosed home should just be torn down and the land cleaned up. Then let us buy the land at it's worth.

The land at it's worth may not be worth as much without the house, unfortunately.

I agree with both of you!! There's no excuse for this kind of disgusting behavior and cruelty to animals! Those poor animals didn't cause their problems -- they should be prosecuted!!
Better yet - find these hillbillies, snap their necks and be done with it.

I fully agree but the legal authorities do not have any way of enforcing nor proving who did what. We have tried to notify them and they just do not have the manpower to do anything.

Nice to see you and this company think it's all so funny and "interesting." You have a story to tell from the suffering of these people and animals though -- that's all that matters to you right? It couldn't just be about the donations.
The people know what is happening to them through the foreclosure process, it takes months and sometimes years to go through--but we are appalled by what we see the animals going through--they deserve better. The animals are the innocent victims here.

I can't help but wonder why the woman at the clean up place would keep the cat skeleton? I mean what is up with that ... Does she think that someone if going to come and claim it or what???
She gives me the creeps ... And so does the other employee's that were pictured in the ABJ story.
Why keep the skeleton? To remind us of the horrible things that people do to innocent animals and to make us respect and treat their remains with dignity. It is right by the stuffed deer's head hanging on the wall.

Count back ... I was 47 when the divorce was final in 2001. I worked 7 days a week until the house sold in 2002. Still had one son at home and in high school in 2001 -2002. And he didn't do without anything either!! I didn't start school until 2003. At that time, I worked full-time and went to school part-time. I am 53 today ... Two years after graduation. The point I was trying to make was ... It takes planning, hard work and time to get back on your feet!! p.s. There were younger single gals in my class that had children and still went to school and worked full time. One even missed her graduation due to giving birth. There are part-time programs out there for just about anything - Look for them !!
Good for You!! This was the whole reason for the story--to let people know that there is HELP out there if they would just look for it and WORK to help themselves. The animals really disturb us when we find the terrible, unnecessary things done to family pets and people need to know that it is NOT necessary to hurt, starve or kill a family pet because they are loosing their house--find a loving home for the pet and let it go!!

Yeah...for shock value. It wasn't really necessary to add the details of the dog missing it's head, but hey, something's got to attract the sick-side of people to this article.
Will you people stop acting like you know more than me when it comes to what should be in a news article. You didn't like...so what?! It doesn't mean it was for 'shock value.'

In reality, one should be "shocked" that people are that messed up to do this stuff to innocent pets. Clearly some of you aren't that smart. No wonder.

So, it wasn't meant for shock value yet people should be shocked? You're kind of contradicting yourself.

As for knowing about "what should be in a news article" - who awarded you the award for the best reporter on the planet? That's right - no one. Get over yourself.

Do you know where I can find a daycare that is open until 10 p.m.? Or a daycare open on the weekends? When I worked on my Master's degree in Business Administration(graduated 05/07), I worked full-time during the day and went to class part-time in the evenings, usually until 10 p.m. Fortunately for me--and you when you were finishing school--I had a child who was old enough to stay home by themselves. My point is that not everyone with children can work 7 days a week.

Redneck head cheese.

Yea, that's sick. Sorry, Trish. Couldn't help myself. You're absolutely correct. Sentence me to Sawyerwood.
