We at www.banishers.net salute you, East Rochester! Hopefully these offenders move and take their disgusting families with them, their filthy children included. The kids of sex offenders have NO business living with our good kids.
If a sex offender is going to offend it does not matter where they live! You think if they live 2000 feet away your children are safe? If they are going to do it they will just simply hang out near the school park, day care or where ever and grab them!Not having a house near a school means absolutely nothing! Thats like saying a man wont cheat on his wife because he wears a ring. If he is going to cheat he will and a ring means nothing! So if you dont like it why dont you move your family out of East Rochester and then you dont have to worry! See how easy it is for you to pack up and leave! And then your family will be one less filthy prejudice family living in East Rochester! Do us all a favor and you move!Oh.... and you have 1 year to do it!

How would you like it if every wrong thing you have ever done was made public knowledge? We all make mistakes in life and most of us can walk away from are mistakes without anyone knowing.How is a sex offender supposed to move on with their life if people are always judging them? Do you even realize that there are people who wear the sex offender label because they were intimate with a 16 year old who lied about her age and now you have a pissed off parent thinking he was taking advantage of their precious little angel! When your 16 you are old enough to drive and old enough to have a job. There fore you are old enough to decide if you want to have sex or not. So for those types of situations I dont feel it should be public knowledge if there was concent and no force was used. If they went after someone younger than that then you pretty much know for sure it was forced.Make it public knowledge for those individuals but there is no reason to tell them where they can and cant live. Its like I said.... if they are going to do it living 2000 feet away will not stop them! If you treat them like animals they will respond like an animals! Let them live their life and move on. And yes..... I do have children..... three!

I Have read a lot of the studies done on sex offenders And I think that any politician That would vote for these laws,Should be voted out of office next election. There is no place in america For these people. They are only Protecting THEIRE own interrests That is getting vote, They know that these laws Don't protect kids but they do get votes into another term in office, or higher office. It's time we end this practice get get rid of these witch hunters once and for all.

VERY WELL SAID! Thank you for the support of believing these laws are not going to change anything but give these sex offenders a hard time finding a place to live! They have paid for their mistakes and once their probation is over they should just be able to move on with their life like everyone else does!

Do you live in the village, do you have children that walk to school? Are you even a parent? You are SOOOOO WRONG!! Sex offenders Often prey on children.And often are repeat offenders. It's not about lawmakers trying to create blah blah this and that, they have a responsibility to OUR community to protect our children. If you don't have children then you have no idea how we feel as parents in this community, and if you do have children then your just ignorant to what is safe for them. I can see that you must be partial to this sensitive issue...... A little on the defensive are we... Get a clue. We It's not ours or our childrens' fault that People are sick and anything we CAN do to protect them we WILL do!!!!
<quoted text>
If your so worried about your children walking to school then get off your lazy ass and walk with them or drive them! Doesn't that make sense? Your wooried about your children but obviously not enough to walk with them! There are people who murder and kidnap children all the time.... doesnt mean they have to be a sex offender to murder or kidnap! Teach your children to stay away from strangers and maybe you wont have to worry so much!

Cristy Do you really beleave what you are saying,or are you just blowing smoke? Sex abuse can happen in the best of families, even yours.Did you know that 60% of alcaholics will sexualy abuse a child in their family at least once? If you know someone in your family, wach out, because you are at greater risk. any thing can trigger abuse that is stressful. Some people do not have the skill to cope with life on lifes terms. Through counciling they they learn. that does not mean that they bad people. Lots of good people do bad things from time to time, even you. Politicions fill your head with this nonsence and people like you swollow it hook line and sinker. We have the same law in Cicaro, and shortly after the law was passed a police officer was arrested for sex abuse. in that very town. Don't that tell you anything? Read these reports, and learn from them.

Presently, sex offender laws make little sense. If they were fair and useful, then law enforcement and the entire justice system along with the community could focus on the pedophiles and rapists. Instead the courts and sex offender registry is full of teens and young adults who have never and would never harm a child or anyone. The teen or young adult who consensually touched his slightly too young girlfriend is judged and scrutinized the same as the creep who rapes a five-year-old. Every week in Texas 100 names are added to the registry. Probably no more than ten percent or so are actually a danger to anyone. We must reform these laws.
