Some people drive with coffee and cell phones in their hands and make stupid knee jerk reaction turns causing drivers behind them to have to take precautionary action.Put your coffe down.Shut your phone off because your not that important.Just drive!

Don't worry Janie, I understand what you meant. You never know if it's the last time you'll see that person. Don't waste time being angry. Life changing events happen without warning.

I don't know what happened here... Has anyone witnessed this "new" driving move: I see it a lot on 5th ave in Brentwood/Bayshore. Instead of people moving toward the shoulder to make a right turn they slow to about 10mph from the driving lane and then make a lumbering wide turn as cars and trucks try not to smash into them. It always seems to be a woman with kids in the car with NC plates. maybe its a low budget driving school in the area.

Janie & Michele both very good points. No matter what you are upset or angry about never leave home or go to bed without telling your loved ones that you love them. It is so important. You never know when it will be the last time that you see them or talk to them. People - COME ON. What's the rush? Wouldn't you rather be 5 minutes late then having to deal with the fact that you took someones life and loved one away. Just slow the heck down.

having seen the aftermath of this particular accident i can't figure out how a small convertable with very little front end damage caused an explorer to flip with such force. Somthing else must have happened maybe a cutoff which created a "pit manuver" type action.

What really happened here?

I know this section of road well. The only way this could happen would be for the Olds that rearended this guy to be flying, not just speeding. If he were drunk, people would scream for his head. I assume he was sober so he just walks away uncharged. You don't have to be drunk to kill some innocent by driving like a complete moron. He should be treated as if he was impaired by a substance. Being sober doesn't excuse criminal behavior!!

no its really a design flaw inteh explorer,i nearly died in an explorer when mine was ovverturned and threw itself around on its basketball sized tires.the 2 door sport explorers have the largest wheel and tire combo from the factory of any 2 door suv sold.the tires do a good job of rebounding after a small collision and intensify the motion and lead to the vehicle over turning,my friend was thrown clear from my vehicle and survived with minimal injuries,i was not speeding and was clipped by an ollies cab going 50 through a stop sign.he barely tapped the rear driver side of my truck but the vehicle reacted badly to this tap, coincidently the truck i owned was wedgewood blue, the same color of the truck in that picture

Also agree on the issue of too many distracted drivers !!
