corruption and deceitfulness has become the motto or insignia for which they represent. Some of these public servants are in to only forward their personal and selfish goals. This town has such a bad reputation that i personally resent driving through it. As with any other town, there are the good and the bad. Irvington has certainly made the national news for its corruption and murder rates. this is certainly a bad reputation for all residents of Irvington and its neighbors. The state and federal government need to intervene swiftly before more innocent people become victims of bad cops, bad judges, bad chiefs, lazy workers and the worst inhume jail of all, nicknamed, IHOP; meaning International House of Pain. I personally experienced it due to a traffic violation in the past. Residents of Irvington need to exercise their franchise power and take back thier town.

IHOP mean Irvington House Of Pain because it refers to the jail. When you stay there all you get to eat is cold coffee and two pieces of white bread with one slice of cheese. The toilets don't work and no officer ever responds when you call them. The cell blocks are always infested with roaches and termites. And you haven't experienced anything if all you got was a ticket. Bottom line is don't get locked up in Irvington.

So what about the jail? Jails and prisons are not supposed to be country clubs. If you get arrested for a crime, you are supposed to suffer not get a penthouse suite and steak for dinner. I'm glad my tax dollars aren't going to waste.

Geez, The old term is dont do the crime and you will not be
in places such as the dungeon or ihop as its name in Irvington, Nj. Please be aware though, When the officials have been involved in so much much corruption, Such as Irvington, Nj And no one has the balls to step up and clean it up then its a back and forth negative action with a smile on it, Otherwise what do you expect from the clownship of Irvington when those same officials education level was obtained from GEDS. Better said of the no leadership also, So stop yacking and crying the blues unless something is done about it. But their are some residents who have been trying to make a dent in the clownships operations, I understand the Govenor knows about the situation but rather get fatter and not flirt his weight when it pertains to Irvington, Besides, the clownships officials tell where he needs to shit.

I'm old fashioned. I believe that if you kill you should be hung. If you rape they should cut your manhood off. If you commit robery then they should cut your arms off. As for jail, I believe you should be locked in a dungeon a24 hours a day. People get locked up and come home in 2 years in the best shape of their lives and very happy to be home. The free criminals that haven't done time look at them and think that maybe its not that hard to go to jail. If you get inhumane treatment and you come out missing limbs and looking like skeletor and happy to get out of the hell hole than people will think twice before committing crimes. I wish they gave me the power to make those changes. I promise you that the prison population will decline severly. But its a revolving door and at the end of the day someone is making money from it. Its all a business

As for michal chase, he ain't nothing but a slickster with power. They only work hard around election time. Trust me I spend many years in irvington and saw a lot of young kids fall to the streets either dead or in prison. Sometimes you shed a tear. They never got a fair chance

Also, I've been locked up in irvignton twice like 10 years ago. Its just like any other holding cell in a bad city and I've been held in a few different cities so I know. Its just dirtier than some but what do you expect. Crackheads, dopeheads, and bums crowded in a tight cell with no windows. You tell me. You walk by these people in the open air street and can't take the smell somtimes. What if you have to sit next to one on a bunk with trash under your feet and a thick almost oily layer of dirt on evry wall and floor. Its a depressing scene. You will come out with a full beard the next day.
