Family battles reality of immigration debate

The debate over U.S. immigration policies has become personal for a Longview family.

I suppose the Statue of Liberty also has: "Just walk on in. Come one come all." The "masses" came on boats legally, landing on Ellis Island and NOT
all were accepted and had to go home.

This is just another sob story and we've got a
nation full of them.

Just another sob story to tug at the heart strings in hopes to soften those like me who are opposed to amnisty.What do illlegals think will happen if caught in this country?They made the bad choice to enter this country illegally start having children they can't feed to use them as shields and to work the welfare system which was meant for American citizens in need,then cry "poor pitiful me" when the illegal is deported.I have no sympathy at all for them.The only one I feel sorry for is the innocent children they breed to use as shields trying to gain a foothold in the U.S. and for the taxpayers who have to feed them.The illegals start commiting criminal acts the very minute they enter this country illegally.They either steal some unsuspecting Americans SS#,work for cash under the table,or just keep breeding anchor babies and live off the taxpayers dime.The more anchors they breed,means they collect more benefits.American culture is disappearing before our very eyes.It is a sad day in this country when a horde of lawless invaders can march in our streets demanding rights and liberties they are not entitled to,waving their countrys flag while burning mine.To be a citizen of this country is worth much more than that.It should not be freely handed out to illegals.Who do they think they are to illegaly enter this country and DEMAND amnisty?We need to vote out every single congressmen and women who supports the illegal takeover. Whats even more disgusting there are Americans who do not see this as a threat.I am one American who is sickend by this.It is high time we boot their hindends out of here.The 14th amendment needs clarified and put an end to birthright citizenship.If the parents are illegal,the child should be illegal.Imagine how much money that alone would save the country.

I see, so it is the Government's fault and the public that is forcing illegal immigrants to come here illegally across the border.

When all else fails, blame someone else for the crime these people commit.

If this article is suppose to illicit sympathy from the public, blaming them sure is not a way to get it.

When Shannon, the woman who married the illegal,took a chance on marriage with this person, she knew full well what she was doing, and no amount of blaming someone else will change that fact.

He got caught, he has been deported, end of story.

If Shannon is so much in love with her illegal alien husband, she is free to join him in his Country. No need to be separated at all, if she wants to live with him. It's not like he is in prison.

I'm getting real tired of reading these sob stories and about these people who make decisions that the rest of us are supposed to pay for. She made the decision to marry him. She knew he was here illegally. The laws are meant to be bent to suit her. She can go with him.

Due to the bad economy we may not be able to send all the illegals home.If necessary,send them half way and let 'em swim.

Why do we have to "send" them anywhere? What I mean is, why should it cost us anything when they can leave the same way they came? I still think if we cut off ALL jobs, housing AND benefits, most of those illegals would self deport with no help from us. As for the more stubborn ones, we can load them up on the bus, give them some water and drop them off at the border.

Giving them no reason to be here would give them no reason to stay.

This is the same story of a person that commits a felony and is incarcerated for 30 to life what is the difference? They broke the law and received a serving of justice. Nobodys fault but their own, what do we owe them something?
