We have hundreds of acres preserved in Yaphank that the County Executive wishes to develop with over 3,000 new homes and MORE shopping centers. Taxpayers already paid for this land and now the county government wants to give it away to developers for their profit and campaign contributions! Folks lets save the open space we already own in Yaphank! Maybe a new town supervisor would protect Brookhaven instead of playing inside baseball with his crony Steve Levy at the county level.

Talk about Yaphank, whay haven't they done anything about the lake in Yaphank! It's horrible!! With all those aquatic plants growing in the lake, preserve and take care of the lake!!

Excellant Point Sandy-We need governmental leaders that know how to get things done--the rhetoric regarding cleaning the lake is rediculous! Nothing has been done for years. They will just study the issue to death and appoint committees that will prolong the invasive species that have taken over the lake for years--what an ugly mess this is! Hope the divided board can make decisions to remedy this issue inbetween stabbing each other in the back.
