For the second year in a row, Gov. Jim Douglas has vetoed legislation calling on the Vermont Yankee nuclear plant's owners to set aside more money for the plant's eventual dismantling.

By now, the papers should have a stock headline,:Douglas Vetos for __th Time". Does he only live to veto everything the leggies fight over, compromise and finally agree on? Seems like it.

thank goodness we have Gov Douglas. if not, the left-wing Shumlinites would spend spend spend this state so far out of control we would be bankrupt. if we as a state are stupid enough to let Shumlin or Shap Smith run this state - we are doomed. remember that. fiscal responsibility goes a long way.
