If both vehicle had green lite, then the vehicle making the left turn is at fault for failing to yield right of way to on coming traffic. PERIOD.............

Yo Nick in NHP, maybe you need to show more compassion. You wouldn't be saying this vile drivel if it was your relative who was killed.
Condolences to the deceased's family.

Those of you who put rude comments on here, are oblivious to the fact that a beautiful, talented, loving, young woman lost her life and will be missed by so many. Have some compassion for her family and friends who are dealing with this very tragic accident. My heart goes out to all of them you have my deepest sympathy!

Nick from New Hyde Park:

All I have to say to you is that you disgust me.

Obviously you are a COMPLETE moron. For you to say, "good thing it didn't kill anyone," you are retarded bc it DID kill someone, and that someone was a beautiful, kind, intelligent and amazing person. Not to mention she has a family that is going through the worst of times right now.

Just remember, God will be repeating those words of yours as he tells you why ppl like you aren't welcomed to heaven.

I happened to be driving that night to dinner on Merrick Ave and my friends and I saw the scene, we approached the area at 9pm, just 5 mins after the impact... and the site was hard to look at... we were only able to make a right due to the debris in the street, but we had a clear view of the cars. And it has been the only thing on my mind for the past 2 days.
My deepest sympothy to the family and friends of this poor girl

My daughter and Shirley where best friends. They both attended Hofstra University together and they are both from the same town in Massachusetts. She was the last person to see Shirley. They wanted to move to Manhattan and they where looking at apartments hours before Shirley lost her life. Shirley was beautiful and full of life and she will be missed. My deepest sympathy for her family.

I went to the same high school as Shirley and was in the same class as her younger sister. I still can't believe this happened. This is the 2nd student from our private high school to have passed away in a 2-week period. My deepest sympathy and prayers for her friends and family.
