In fact, since they were able to make a "parliamentary" styled power-grab, we--as voters--should therefore be able to hold special elections to turn every last one of them out. Additionally, instead of Patterson's idea of withholding their pay until they stop wasting time(and taxpayer dollars) they should all be given a bill to pay back the state for all the money that they're costing. Instead of receiving such-and-such a sum via paycheck, they now have to pay that amount back to us .

I think Sarah Farrah Fawcett received pretty good coverage . Unfortunately she died on the same day of a super star. Now I know many people did no care for him because he was strange . But you can't take away the fact Michael was a great writer great singer great dancer one which I doubt we will ever see again. Since when do we give more coverage to someone because their way of death caused more personal suffering? Also unfortunately some news media's still refer to Michael Jackson as Jacko which is a insult - a name Michael asked not to be called. Now if you think that's nice think again.

Yes, the press was 1 sided MJ vs FF / EM. FF got kudos w/ home movie x2. MJ: music genius>isolated>abused >icon>burn victim> feared>villified>abandon ed. Did he stop singing w/burned face, chest, lungs?...

The comments made by Sarah Fuchs are really pathetic. MJ lived a very rough life and probably had more to deal with than Farrah evee did. The point is that making one person more valid because of that person's life challenges versus another person's challenges based on one's own value judgement is just sad. If you want to remember Farrah Fawcet and remember the good she brought into your life, just do that and stop with the bs judgements.

I agree that the two deaths occuring on the same day kind of pushed Farrah off to the side a bit, however I also think that Farrah's family was able to have a more private farewell which is probably what they wanted. The Jacksons got their huge state funeral which is what they wanted. Everyone's happy.

PEOPLE DON'T LIKE MICHAEL, and the same people probably didn't give a rats asz about Farah either but since they hate Michael so much, they are all(in a whiny voice) " AW why don't real heroes get this much coverage"?? "AW why didn't Farah get this much coverage"?? DID YOU PEOPLE SERIOUSLY EVEN CARE ABOUT THAT before MJ was all over the news?? How pathetic of all of you, seriously..

I sit back and look at all the coverage over Michael Jackson's untimely death. He was a star in most people's eyes and he probably would approved of the extravaganza that has been put on concerning his death. However, there is another icon, "Farrah Fawcett" that died hours before Michael did. I thought it was so unfair that Michael's death took coverage over Farrah when he died. She was put on the back burner to have every newstation protray Michael's whole life for days; and its still going on 2 weeks later. However, I got to reading about Farrah and her life. She was a shy person and you couldn't tell the difference between her and her Texas hometown friends(when Farrah went to visit her hometown in Texas). She was a down to earth kind of person and didn't let Hollywood changed the person she was inside. She didn't get to come out and tell the world about her disease with cancer because of the media and an unnamed source. She wasn't left alone to fight this disease without the media hounding her every move, but she took it like the lady that she was. I have always liked her and respected her as an actress. Maybe she did have a few flops in some of the movies, but doesn't all actors?. She was a good actress, friend, daughter, mother and most of all...a lady. She didn't crave attention. She got it because of the beautiful person she is on the inside and definately on the outside. She was totally bless with beauty, brains, manners and had the gift of being a fine actress. I believe she would not have wanted the media hounding her family and friends concerning her death, funeral and holding her up like some God. She knew her God and she protrayed that by the way she lived. In the face of death; she relyed on God to heal her. And even though it wasn't the healing that we would have liked to see. He healed her by taking her home. I believe Farrah had the home going celebration that she would have approved of. A quiet one. I know where Farrah is today, and I believe that when she closed her eyes in death; she opened them up with Jesus standing there and saying child its time to come home.

I agree. I saw her documentary on tv ,knew how much she was suffering .I hated to see that but I watched it all,she has my respect, sympathy for all her family . As does Michael's family but I did see her suffering these yrs trying to beat it.Michael was just gone so fast that I feel for his family.

I don't mean to be cold, but wanting to live and dying from cancer does not make you a hero. Putting your life on the line for someone else makes you a hero.

Thats really sweet, but a lot of people were a fan of Michael Jackson. I didn't even know who Farrah was until now. I am sorry she has passed and i'm glad she is no longer suffering, but Michael Jackson was just a music legend, thats all.
