Post-Irene hearing focuses on tree hazards
The state's forests are aging to the point where they are creating threats to public safety and the statewide delivery of electricity, a local tree warden told lawmakers probing the response to Tropical Storm Irene on Monday.

the trees were here long before we moved our roads and property near them. we need to live with them, and if they fall, they fall. just stay out of their way. what else can you do.
