grandpa max will be missed by many. he was such a loving and generous man. the entire family is filled with love and talents and big hearts. i will never forget how he would walk everyone down his beloved garden talking about the creation of it and how many species of plants there are. he wanted everyone to enjoy it and share it with all. i love this family so much they are so amazing.

I had my first birthday at Uncle Max's house; day before Easter. Then later in life, I was a part of this 'project'. I will never forget how he continuously reminded me how lucky I was to be a part of it (even though it was scary as heck!) and how he influenced me throughout my life. Read more here.. Remarkably, this is just one of many things he was involved with; still it changed 'the world'...

As a son it is touching to see these comments about my father, even as I grieve. Today is Veterans Day, I Honor him and his comrades, those who never made it home and the ones who did. Those men and women fought to carry on our Freedoms. Paramount for father was his desire to make sure people were treated fairly, with respect, dignity and honor. He was a Legend while alive and his legacy will continue because he touched so many people. He touched individuals in ways that will effect them the rest of there lives. I have heard from many who have told me about how they were touched by him. Most remember the place and time if it was one and many share the multiple times he effected them. He believed in the Common Man and encouraged the janitor, security guard, truck driver, as well as the professional to believe in themselves.
Kind words filled his breath while focus on the Positive in the worst of situations always came in the most sensitive form. May I convey as his son he something wanted for all, Be Kind. |

My heart goes out to all of Max & Glorias Children, as I once was their Aunt Susan, Married to their Uncle Terry Negri, and in the early 1970's the Negri family home was always full of love, family and friends. A couple that you would never forget, but just love.Gloria gave me wedding & baby showers and was always the perfect lady. Uncle Max would turn over the Kids to us to take them to snow Valley for a day of sking, always a long day. But the Negri's waised all the children to enjoyable to be around. I would raise my glass to Both of them and their lifes. I hope to see both of them, when we all gather in the clouds, LOVe Susan Cowgill
