News would be a lot more valuable if it contained information beyond "bare facts" reporting. Sigh. Information is powerful, but only if it can be used. WNV is here, now what?
First off, take precautions about your mosquito exposure. WNV is not the only virus carried by mosquitoes.
If you find a dead bird, don't just toss it and forget it -- report it by calling 866-627-7968. Here is a link which explains when and where to report your findings.
Here is a link with more information about EEE in addition to WNV: http://tinyurl.com/5hwdcv
Be careful about your exposure to mosquitoes and report dead birds.
