I hear those ATMS only except real money...try depositing your monopoly money else where.
Georgette burned what has become a very dear friend, Bonnie...we met off the internet. She went to him hoping to get help for an insurance problem. Georgette emailed her back, telling her to "call a priest". The biggest blow off answer one could give another person. But I am considering the source of that "call a priest comment" and remembering that all professionals are not worthless bums like Georgette.
He stll , to this date, won't give a reason for the blow off, except to say that "he writies articles only about wide spresd problems"
Yep.
Just the other day my continential breakfast didn't come to my motel and the pool was out of servive.. BoooHooo
And my best buy return policy didn't get honored....Where is the humanity?
And Georgette must have dislocated his shoulder with all that back petting he did about CL&P meters.
He is a cherry picker, never wanting to get his hands dirty, and the rude way he blew off this girl makes it worth it to me to come onto his forums and verbally attack him.
I'm here for the long haul Georgette...never going away.
Well, I guess this rambling, non-coherent post confirms things once and for all.....

Yep, I haven't found a working ATM in months. I've been to multiple branches in multiple cities. They reject all checks created by Quicken and most others as well. The people in the branch just shrug and if B of A is telling you it's not a problem, they're lying. It was a great idea, and it worked for a few months; but clearly the technology is not ready for Prime Time.

We have had these ATMs in Trumbull for two+ years. My sons use them all the time to deposit checks (have never, ever used a teller) and really like the machines. The scanned image of the deposit is also immediately available online!

Also, sorry, but I side with B of A on this one. They really cannot control idiots that deposit WET money (or misuse the machine in any other manner.

The only problem I have encountered is trying to deposit travel expense checks from my employer. There is someting about the color scheme they use that messes up the scanner

found out my local BoA ATM near my college had this ability, and tried it out. worked like a charm! its nice i dont have to make it during biz hours to go inside or when i dont have despoit slips.

but my main banking account will always be USAA Federal Savings, as they are the only ones I know who accept deposits by scanning checks online.

In St. Louis, we are having trouble using ATMs to get cash. If you go inside the bank or through the drivethrough windows, you can get your money. Otherwise, no deal!! I find it hard to believe in this financial crisis all of these problems are attributable to new ATM machines. We have the old machines. Has anyone else out there had this same problem with your ATM?

These ATMs can be a pain. Use another bank!
