Teddy doesn't have any kids, his is just a young man himself. A very good one at that!! I wish him and his family well, as well as the lady killed. Very sad situation, he is one of the most kind and thoughtful young men I have ever meet and he will be devasted when he finds out someone was killed. He would never wish harm on anyone! I just hope all involved will be ok. Those who pulled him out of the burning car are real hero's, not football, basketball or baseball stars. It is those who put their lives on the line everyday for a total stranger! Most people wouldn't even do that for their own family anymore. Here Here for all the real hero's and armed forces out there!!!!!

"I would just like to thank I was there for also being there. When it came to actually making contact with the victims, I froze and only knew to call 911 and tell the location and situation. In one way I felt I should have done more but at least I was able to make the call and hope that in some way was helpful. I wish Teddy are very good and quick recovery. His baby needs him and so does the rest of his family. My prayers are with the families of both people involved.

teddy does not have a child; just to let everyone who be confused know. he wasnt thinking in his right mind during the accident and was saying whatever he could to be saved, im sure. thanks everyone for the prayers. he is doing very very good. talking more and more every time he wakes up. surgeries are going well too. thanks so much to the people who pulled him out of the car; its takes a really brave person to do such a thing. praise the Lord that he is healing and should be fine!

From the young lady who called 911 to the people who pulled Theodore Lietzke from his burning car to the truckers with fire extinguishers, the Paramedics, EMTs, the firemen and to anyone who helped out in any way at the accident on 3/17/2010 YOU ARE HEROS!
Great sympathy to the family of Nancy Logan. May she rest in peace and a speedy recovery for Teddy.

I am Teddy's girlfriends mom and I wanted to personally thank all those involved in this accident. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Nancy Logan's family and friends. We are very grateful for those who helped her and Teddy at the scene in any way. The loss of her life will be devastating to Teddy when he hears what happened. He is recovering and doing well considering all the injuries and has a long road to full recovery. Thanks again to all the HEROS involved....it was a wonderful thing for you to put your lives in danger to save another and we will be forever thankful and blessed that you were there at that time to help. THANK YOU ALL!!

I was on the scene of the accident and I was wanting an update on how Theodore Lietzke was doing,if you don't mind giving one, if not that is well understood? Hope he is still getting better day by day. Hope all is well with him and his family. I also hope that the Logan family is finding peace in the tragedy. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Teddy is getting better. He is able to get in a wheelchair for small periods of time. He is improving every day and working hard to recover. He is done with surgery for now but has a long ways to go to get back to "normal". Thanks for the concern and I'll try to keep you informed on here from now on.
Thanks!:)

Thank You for the update, and tell him to take care and not to rush his healing, that it will come with time.

Thinking of Theodore....you say you were on the scene of the accident. Were you one of the 3 that helped get him from the car (we have only spoken to 2 of the 3 ppl) or were you with the EMS? Just asking as we would like to contact the 3rd person if possible. Thanks!

I didn't actually pull him from the car. I tried to help open the door, then called 911 for the second time to make sure they sent a fire truck, cause I wasn't sure if they would and if I told them the car was on fire the first time I called. The most I did was contact 911, contact one of the perry twp EMT's and help with the door of the car. I didn't know what to do in the situation and remembered what my friend (a 911 dispatcher had said) and that was to call 911 and have them direct you in the situation. I'm still very concerned as it was a very bad scene, and he his life was in much danger and would like updates. I wish him the best, and if he does want or need to talk would be glad too.

Teddy is doing SO much better than he was that day. He isn't able to walk at this time but he will once his bones have healed in 2 months and then he will have therapy to walk after that. He had many extensive injuries but all have been repaired and he is doing awesome! We are just thankful to all that helped so thank you for calling 911 and thanks to all that had a part in his rescue. He is a great young man and I'm glad that he is good and my daughter feels very lucky to have him. I hope that the Logan family is all doing well and our thoughts and prayers have been with them also...

FOr anyone who hasn't heard, Teddy is making great strides in recovering. The first week of June, he will be standing for the first time since the accident and working on walking once he is comfortable with standing. We are all rooting for him and hope things go quickly for him. Good luck Ted!!
