You know they cant list the victims till the families notified. I guess they could have listed the time. I saw Life Flight go that way about 6:30 if that helps ya.

They can't release that information until the family is informed. The time would have been nice but until they notify family of the crash, they can't release names of victims.

Why don't you at least give these people the opportunity to notify the family members of this innocent person who lost their life. Do you really think that YOU should be the first person to know? Get a grip!

It's common around here ... I've never lived anywhere else where it takes so long to release this kind of information, and salient details, like the address of a crime scene, are often left out and instead nebulous terms like "east side" are used ... it's pretty much been that vague here as long as I can remember.

The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle fatal accident on County Road 144 (between State Route 287 and County Road 144A) near East Liberty Wednesday morning around 5:40.

Troopers report that a westbound 02 Ford Focus driven by Nancy Logan, 66, of Lakeview, was struck by an eastbound 01 Mitsubishi Galant operated by Theodore Lietzke, 20, of Huntsville.

The vehicles collided in the westbound lane.

Nancy Logan was pronounced dead at the scene by Logan County Coroner Dr. Michael Failor.

Lietzke was transported to OSU Medical Center by MedFlight, which forced the eastbound lanes of Route 33 to be closed for a short time.

Lietzke is listed in critical condition.

Allen Township Fire and EMS assisted at the scene.

Eyewitnesses report that one of the cars caught on fire.

County Road 144 was closed for several hours.

The wreck remains under investigation.

This is the fifth fatal accident in Logan County this year.

stop picking on "say what". That person may want to check to see if it's a relative or so. here's some advice. The OH Bureau of Motor vehicles has a website and you can put your loved ones on it, in case of an accident. You would be notified if that loved one is hurt, or God forbid, worse....

My thoughts and prayers are with the families involved.

Wow! How insensitive can people get. You will know soon enough who was involved!

News has that Allen Twp may have been dispatched first to scene, but Perry Twp was first on the scene. They were there within 12 minutes of the 911 call.

I was there and I was the one who pulled Theodore Lietzke out before it was totally engulfed in flames. He was in pretty bad shape suffering a broken collar bone, both legs were broken, broken ribs, broken left arm and internal bleeding. The other driver I checked her pulse and she was dead at the scene. I pray for the Theodore recovery and to his family and to Charlie Logan and family who lost their mother in a violent crash.

I would just like to thank I was there for also being there. When it came to actually making contact with the victims, I froze and only knew to call 911 and tell the location and situation. In one way I felt I should have done more but at least I was able to make the call and hope that in some way was helpful. I wish Teddy are very good and quick recovery. His baby needs him and so does the rest of his family. My prayers are with the families of both people involved.
