Until the union takes over this plant, the worker won't be able to feed their families.

I agree you can't drive a Honda and be against SB5. Union is union, teacher, firemen, or cop.

That's right - building a higher quality product that consumers will purchase with their own money, at a higher price, is Unamerican.

The union goon rally downtown must be over.

Production might have got cut but we are still getting our 40 hours unlike the union based assembly plants that are filing unemployment! Say what you will about hondas but they are 90% american made cars! GM light trucks have transmissions in them that are made overseas and Mexico! That's American alright!

This action by Honda should be a wake up call for Americans. Independence is what we need. We need factories that actually make something, not just piece together something. Either start doing this or let's tear this place up. Nobody ever remembers how this plant came about. Governor Rhoades bought up all the property in that area, went to Japan and cut the deal. Wow, guess who made all the money. Does anybody ever read history any more.

But the governor brought jobs to his state, didn't he? Been to Detroit lately?
Talking about reading, did you know there are lots of American car manufacturers that are cutting hours and production due to parts shortages? Should that be a wake up call for Americans too? Or that doesn't count, right?

Honda employs thousands of Americans in good- paying jobs. 15 BILLION dollars enter Ohio's economy through Honda. Honda directly employs 15,000 people in Ohio, making the company this state's largest manufacturing employer. its suppliers employ thousands more here. There are numerous Honda models that contain more than 90% American- made parts. This is more American parts content than many "Domestic" cars. And by the way, GM just idled its full- size truck plant due to supply issues from Japan. Did you honestly believe that every part of every car was made by the company that makes the car itself? That Ford has plants making spark plugs, tires, brake pads, and each of the over 50,000 little pieces that go into a modern automobile?
