Keep buying the Honda's to covert those dollars to yen. With that perceived extra $700 you will get at trade in time, you can buy a ticket for an OSU bowl game. Yep tuition hikes are on the way...

Your car clueless. Honda is a big deal in Central Ohio because of Marysville Honda plant. It's not the largest seller in other major city markets in the Mid-West. The Camry, which is as equally boring, is the 3rd best selling car in the country under Ford and GM trucks.
Honda makes a good vehicle but so does everyone else these days. Any car built within the last 5 years is pretty equal on quality and reliability. The dometics certainly spent two decades shooting themselves in the foot but there was also a time when the big three from Japan built nothing but tiny, unreliable rust buckets. Thanks to the U.S. helping to rebuild Japans industry base after WWII and for the U.S. showing Japan our manufacturing process, they ran with it. All the while, the baby boomers and UAW chose to destroy the domestic industry with bad product.(just like the steel and rail industry).
Ever noticed the majority of people who drive non driver oriented but reliable cars like the Accord and Camry are over 50? I bet it's been years since you have owned a domestic car and you fit that over 50 boomer profile. The domestics, especially Ford and GM hopefully learned their lesson as they are building fine cars like they once did prior to the goverments last minute forced emission reg's of the early 70's. You can't judge a product because you had a bad experience decades ago or people would never use any products. Korean automakers like Kia and Hyundai (same company) have made great strides the last 5 years and that is acceptable to people of your thinking.(even though Korean cars are exact copies of Japanese and German cars) The domestics have made great strides as well, but people like you don't want to accept that because it's more fun to bash them with stupid names like "goverment motors".
Maybe your problem is with the UAW, I'm not a big fan of them either. But you do realize the most agressive auto unions exist in Japan, Germany and Korea. That's one reason to build them here in the USA, they avoid the unions in their own countries.
I don't know how you non-driving enthusiats Honda people find your beige and maroons Accords and Odyessys in a busy shopping mall parking lot. Thank God for keyless entry I guess. You just keep on hating U B Stupid and by the way the term "Jap" is as derogatory as using the N word. Dumb A ##.
