Hey if this was GM of Ford they would say "its out of warranty...do you expect it to last forever...just buy a new one" Seems to me like Honda stepped up.

I have a 2009 EX Civic with 10k on it. Guess I'll have to watch for this problem. Very good mpg...40.1 on the turnpike.

Video: Chrysler workers drinking, toking on the jobposted at 2:15 pm on September 23, 2010 by Ed Morrissey

Nomally this kind of story wouldn’t be of much interest in politics. If a company’s workers start drinking and smoking marijuana on their breaks, it should be an issue for ownership and management. In this case, though,we are ownership, thanks to the huge government bailout that kept this Chrysler plant in operation. Barack Obama made that same point just a couple of months ago in a splashy visit to garner the adulation of these workers, as the Detroit Fox affiliate reports in their exposé:

Worthy click - a VERY FUNNY news report.

That's nothing surprising. with UAW you practically can't get fired. I have a friend who worked for Ford for many years(over 20 years) He'd go into work almost fall down drunk. and not 1 or 2 times. I'm talking many times(50-60 times atleast) They won't even say hey Roy we're gonna write you up or even rip his butt for it. they put him a "special job" during he "temporarily disabled"
the UAW has ruined Ford,GM and Chrysler. The management has "no teeth." he tells me about times when another guy WAS INTOXICATED OPERATING A FORKLIFT and didn't even get any displinary actions. I'm really surprised there hasn't been any wicked lawsuits come out of these automakers due to unsafe work environment.
This is one of the reasons why I won't buy a Ford,Chrysler or GM. They act like work a college party.
