Honda is trying to polish the image of its Crosstour, which is expected to miss its 2010 sales goal of 30,000 vehicles - already downsized from 35,000. One thing it has going for it is the popular and reliable Accord platform on which it is built.

I don't think it's worth 30K. I can buy a fully equip Accord with a V6 and it will be below 30,000. Honda needs to put a 4-cylinder it and get rid of the frills and charge less.

I'm surprised at Honda....shooting itself in the foot first with the Insight then the Crosstour. How the mighty have fallen.

Although not quite as ugly as the aztec, it comes pretty darn close, with really bad lines, and an ugly front and back. Both honda and acura need some new designers. I own an 08 TL and would never buy any of the current ones, the new TL looks like some cheap tuner, note to acura, pimple faced high school boys aren't buying your cars.

The thing has the basic lines of an 80's Chevy Citation, but with rounded corners. That is not a compliment.

It seems that Honda smugly assumes buyers will choose their products based on its past reputation of quality - regardless of its generally quirky and goofy styling. Unfortunately, they also seem to be failing to understand that they are quickly losing any advantage on the quality front as compared to its competition, and that butt ugly transportation pods won't cut it anymore.

I kinda have to agree with Yeah Sure. It does seem like Honda is going more for what they feel like doing rather than what will actually work.
