A teenage girl who was struck by a car while crossing Imperial Highway on Friday died from her injuries, authorities said Saturday.

Wow! Your comment is priceless. I felt so sorry for this girl's family and friends. Now I just feel sorry for her family.

Just so you know ... young people are responsible for MANY more traffic deaths than old people. Does that mean that we should never let you drive?

The death of a young person is always tragic and my heart goes out to her family. I see way too many people crossing the street as though they have nothing to fear and this is a poignant reminder that we have to make sure we are safe. Pedestrians may have the right of way, doesn't mean every car is going to stop. Stay safe.
