Man injured in Wyandanch shooting -

Suffolk police are investigating a shooting at Wyandanch Park that happened early Wednesday.

Disarm the thugs, regardless of what that takes. Stop and search their cars, stop and pat down individuals and groups of wandering men, and mane the penalty for a crime committed with an illegal gun twice that of the crime by itself. It's time to take to illegal guns off the streets. Is it profiling, yes. Is there a profile of someone who would be likely to be illegally armed, yes. Let's use it. It is time to put the PC crap aside and do what is logical and practical.

I don't like the term "Crimedanch", because I think the name is a bit of a stretch. It's not like "Crookhaven" or "Hellport", which sound much better.
Anyway, there is no mention of race in the story, though considering that Wyanadanch is abour 85% black, I think we know the shooter is probably black.

Regardless of Lavon walking through the park at 1:00 a.m. he was SHOT (with his shooter having the expectantcy of KILLING him). With GOD's will he was able to make that 911 call and get admitted to a hospital timely. Of who this senseless, worthless person is at present is unknown and the streets will talk. I don't know, I guess "Crimedanch" works ok. It's just that I use pronounce it "Why-en-danch", and it seems like a stretch. I have heard it pronounced "Winedanch", which makes "Crimedanch" very good.
