My prayers are with this family. Here is a poem that gives me strength-

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I do not die.

So sorry for your loss. Your son, and your family, too, are brave! Not every family can face such a fight and realize the most important thing is to cling together to face the fight, and to love each other. His life may have been short, but it was full of what makes life worthwhile: being cherished by those who matter most.

This story brought tears to my eyes so sad to see such a young life cut short and the love he showed to his parents and siblings is amazing. RIP Chris
