Shooting victim still fighting for his life

The Central Islip man shot by an off-duty city cop two weeks ago remains in a drug-induced coma following three surgeries at Stony Brook University Medical Center, according to his attorney.

What a shame, This "hood" comes to Miller Place with a knife in his pocket LOOKING for TROUBLE, and unfortunately he found it with the wrong man. Poor boy, he should have stayed in his own neighborhood.

Another ambulance chaser looking to make a thug rich after the low life pull's a knife on the wrong person and gets shot. The bullet just didn't hit him in the right place. Should have been in the heart.
Misiano should be disbarred for filing frivolous law suits.

The previous 2 posts problem is that they never had anyone who was at the wrong place at the wrong time. If you are claiming that someone "should have been shot in the heart" just because he might or might not have had a knife on him is not only ignorant but probably a relative of the "cop" who acted like a bitch and shot a guy who used him like a punching bag before because he came after his cousin while intoxicated and felt ashamed that he got beat up in front of his "miller place buddies". This shows you the type of people who live in that area as well as the ignorant punk idiotic posts who agree with the girlie move that off duty cop pulled.

Obviously miller place is a hood who have a bunch of fake hoodlums and off duty cops who get intoxicated while carrying firearms and feel the need to shoot at people who defend themselves against punks who dont know how to act when drinking. Cops are supposed to be smarter than the "average joe"(apparently xyz is below average) and have higher moral and ethical standings. First of all that cop should have known better than to be in public intoxicated to begin with. He shouldnt have started a bar fight. He should have left when the bouncers asked him to leave. He shouldnt have waited in his car like a punk for these guys to leave the bar. obviously he knew he couldnt fight these guys by himself. so his cowardly little PUNK self had to bring a gun, which obviously shooting this guy was premeditated if you were asked to leave the area almost a hour before this whole thing goes down....and then on top of it all he shot the guy in the back!!!!!!!!! i think that says enough right there....This cop that was "protecting himself" shot him in the BACK!!!!!!! Im just glad i dont live in NY i see the standards they have for hiring "officers of the law" this a perfect example of cops who think their title allows them to do anything they please i hope they stick it to this rookie cop hard, this is why children shouldnt play with guns!!!

After carefully reading the article again I would like to change my response.
He should have shot him in the F'n head!!!
If your going to shoot them kill them. Now the tax payers pay.
No really, if the cop was wrong string him up.
Were you there GDL? Neither was I. So I always side with the cops until proven otherwise.

"Intoxicated" or not the cop was in the wrong....thats even worse if was sober and still shoot this guy in the back!!! and it sounds like you might haver have been front and center so you should stop covering for your little buddy and addmit that he was wrong!!!!
