I observed an interesting sight today. With all the attention this particular officer has recieved, along with his habit of issuing tickets on a record breaking pace for motorvehicle violations, he, while working extra duty today had his personal car parked illegally in a traffic lane.
Furthermore, it was hard to not notice the dark tint on all of his side window's, including the front driver and passanger windows. Which is illegal.
I found it rather hypocritical that a police officer who has taken such an interest in motor vehicle infractions to blatantly and purposely disregard them.
Or is this just another case of the law doesn't apply to us.

And the issuing of tickets, and motor vehicle infractions at record pace? Las I checked that called doing his job, and after all with a name like cop watch I would imagine that is what you want cops to do...their jobs. Unless of course your name suggests something else in which case I'll wait for your response before I go any further.

As far as issuing tickets, i agree. But as usuall a double standard, he can break the law, yet enforce those same laws against other people? No I'm sorry that does not fly.
As far as my name, I have nothing at all against police officers, except for the ones like this one who think the laws apply to everyone except them.
As i have said maybe an officer who hasn't acted like god's gift to motorvehicle enforcement would have gone unnoticed. Yet this one, parks in a travel lane, ILLEGAL. Has tinted windows, ILLEGAL.
Maybe Chief Gallo needs to go outside and inspect some of his own officers vehicles before they act hypocritical.

DONT FORGET THE OVERTIME!!!!!!!!! THAT NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT. A NEW BUDGET AND THE POLICE DEPARTMENT IS ON A MIND BLOWING FREE FOR ALL WITH THE OVERTIME IN THE FIRST WEEK OF THE NEW BUDGET. ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING.
THE MAYOR AND THE CHIEF NEED TO LOOK INTO THAT. IT WENT AS FAR AS CALLING IN EAST HAVENS ACCIDENT RECONSTRUCTION TEAM IN SUCH A HAST NO ONE BOTHERED TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IT WAS AN ACCIDENT UNDER THE STATE POLICE JURISDICTION. BUT THE TAXPAYERS OF EAST HAVEN GOT STUCK PAYING FOR THAT ONE. INCOMPETENCE!

You failed to answer the question COP Watch. How do you know its his personal vehicle? What are you some kind of sick maniac stalker? I love people like you. Always got the answer to the question no one asked. Tinted windows? That can be justified as an officer safety issue. Tinted windows prevent bad guys that cops arrest from identifying them while they are off duty. Unless of course the bad guy has done his homework, like yourself. As for the overtime situation, thats life, deal with it. I get more pissed off watching paied firemen wash their cars while they are on overtime sitting around waiting for the one fire a year that they have to put out. How about public works employees who drive around all day doing absolutely nothing at time and a half. No one seems to care about those guys right? Just the cops. Well keep this in mind. You kill off PD overtime, you kill off effective proactive police work. I know that I'm not going overboard at my job unless i'm getting compensated. Base pay means base work. Anyone who says otherwise is a bold faced liar.

So if the officer was a lazy scum bag it would be okay? Or you just wouldn't care? Aparently you or a family member has been stopped for some type of violation. You have an axe to grind. Thats apprent, and that is exactly why no one important will give two shits about what your crying about. The classic line. I have nothing against police officers. Of course you do. Dont lie, just say it. You hate cops. You love to hate any authority or government. Your the big fat old guy in the back of every town meeting just waiting to say no just for the sake of saying no.
