It's about time! When I saw the pictures on the front page of the Courant, I said - hey, it's Hartland! It's exactly what Route 20 looked like Friday morning. We had devastating damage to our homes, nearly the entire town out of power, sub-freezing temps, no heat, water, or power - and the Courant's article is about New Hampshire! The reason we subscribe to the Courant is to get LOCAL news. It'd be nice for the paper to acknowledge that the worst ice storm in 30 years affected several towns and thousands of CT residents in the Northwest Hills.
Shame on the Courant!
