Yes I do!, I spent summers at my aunt's cottage. While rowing to the canal with my friends we would go by and some of the camp girls would be swimming and they would ask us for a smoke so we would go hang with them. I think they were from Pennsylvannia.

What memories. I loved that lake.

My aunt sold her home a few years back and every time I drive by I remember such good times for such a small lake. The sixties and seventies were great there!

My Aunt spent several summers there working the tobacco fields. She was there in the latter half of the 40's. She started a band for the girls there.

I lived at the other end of the lake from "the girls camp." To swim across the lake was a big adventure.

I had the most enjoyable fun summer days with my cousin Roger on the lake ! Two of my uncle's owned cottages across the lake from where the girls stayed and sometimes we would row across and say HI.It was really fun when we would put a sail on the canoe on a windy day! Ahhhh how lucky we were !

I was there in the summers of 58 & 59. It was a great place. I visited there about 15 years ago. I went to the Chamber or City offices, and they told me how to get to the camp. Some of the buildings were still standing, and it brought back a lot of good memories.

I was there in '64 or '65 with 3 other girls from Lake Wales, FL in Polk County. We took trips which included the NY World's Fair and to Boston, MA. It was fun and I actually saved some money.

I grew up in Granby and have no memory of the Labor Camp. We did takeswimming lessons on the Lake tho. Can someone describe what the girls labor camp was? What kind of labor? How many years did was it in operation. I lived there from 1968-1986.
