The religious fanatics of al-Qaeda did not kill thousands of their own people on September 11, 2001. They were killing their perceived enemies--us--not their own. Admittedly, fanatics of that caliber have an extremely narrow view of whom they think is "worthy" of life.
Just because I happen to point out some of the unsavory and reprehensible "stains" about the past/present of Christianity doesn't automatically mean the I'm ideologically, politically, spiritually, or emotionally aligned with religious fanatics from any religion.

I think we should start treating these nut cases like nut cases. Instead of killing them, I think a little electro-shock therapy, followed by a lobotomy would render them harmless enough.
